This book is written by a divine messenger. He was sent by the Living God to reveal the mystery of the Heavenly Jerusalem and to show the way back to this sacred homeland of humankind. The Heavenly Jerusalem is the Kingdom of God with many mansions where all world religions are organically integrated. There the Lord God almighty shines as eternal Light forever (see Revelation 22:5).

For more than 20 years, in an amazing spiritual journey, Leon Moscona was led by Divine Masters and celestial beings, step by step, world after world, to the Holy City of Jerusalem. Now he is sharing some of the results of this inspiring journey in the book The Second Coming. The book reveals the mystery of the Second Coming (Part One) and introduces the Nine Fold Rainbow Path - the path which leads us back to the Kingdom of God and helps to bring this celestial reality down on earth (Part Two).

The spiritual journey of Leon Moscona and the Nine-Fold Rainbow Path are very closely related. Leon himself had to experience for some years each one of these steps in order to present them as a precise spiritual path for humankind's ascent to the Kingdom of God. Without entering into detail about his journey and the Nine Fold Rainbow Path described in the book we will outline some of the main stages of Leon's spiritual path in their relevance to the steps of the Nine Fold Rainbow Path. This will shed light on both the main ideas of the book and the spiritual journey of its author.

Leon Moscona was born in Bulgaria (1941) and graduated, with postgraduate studies, in Moscow (1964-73). His spiritual journey started with an exodus from the restricted, materialistic and atheistic consciousness. It began in Moscow in 1971. By chance he came across the book THE GREAT INITIATES by Edward Shuree which revealed to him the idea of God as supreme Divine Intelligence, Universal Spirit, Living Light and the mystery of Creation. At that time Leon realised that the communist authorities (in Bulgaria and Russia) deliberately created a wrong conception of God (perhaps they simply didn't know what God is about and identified the idea of God with the Christian church, against which they struggled) in order to dismiss it completely. But for Leon the idea of God was a revelation and became a passionate love, an impulse for spiritual awakening and self-remembrance. Full of fervour he started his exodus from the restricted earthly consciousness. It is well known that when the disciple is ready the Master appears. Soon after his awakening, in Moscow, Leon found his Master (1972) and amazingly this Master was Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno) from Bulgaria (1864-1944), whose community was 15-20 minutes from Leon Moscona' s family home in Sofia.

After his return to Bulgaria (1973), Leon rearranged his life in accordance with the spiritual tradition of the Master Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno). From a bright intellectual he became a devoted spiritual disciple - prayerful, meditative, studying spiritual literature and living a wholesome style of life. Moreover Leon transformed and spiritualised all relationships in his life - social, professional, friendly, family, intimate and others. Thus with the risk of losing his job, being exiled and other possible recriminations, Leon became a committed participant of the spiritual community of the Master Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno) and started his journey to the higher celestial worlds. Soon the first spiritual fruits began to appear.

In the years that followed, the life of Leon Moscona in the spiritual school of the Master Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno) was a very happy and fulfilling one. He attended spiritual gatherings on a weekly basis, participated in excursions with inspiring spiritual sharings every weekend and celebrated appropriately the main spiritual festivals of the year. The climax of the spiritual school was the summer camp in the Rila mountains. Thus, following the teaching of the Master Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno), Leon resolved his main existential questions, such as the purpose of life, his place in society, the secrets of life and death, etc. and felt like a celestial child growing up in Divine, Love, Wisdom and Truth.

The real experience of the Garden of Paradise came in the Summer camps. There, for a month or so, the participants learned to live together in love and friendship as one great spiritual family, to appreciate Nature and all forms of life and to overcome the challenges which the high mountains provide. The focus of the day in these Summer camps was the morning prayer and meditation at sunrise, which lasted about one and a half hours, followed by the Paneurhythmy, lasting another one and a half hours. So, for about three hours everyday the participants were witnessing and participating in the great cosmic-spiritual life, integrating all levels of Being.

During these sacred hours many people, Leon among them, experienced the blossoming of their souls. His eyes were opened and he perceived the mountains, Nature, the Earth and all of life as a magnificent sea of Divine Love, Light, Music, Colours, spiritual thought-forms. He felt a deep spiritual contact with his beloved Master Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno), whose Spirit led him from one to another beautiful world in the Kingdom of God.

In time Leon Moscona realised that he was becoming clairvoyant and able to perceive the beauty and richness of the celestial worlds. Moreover, he started having visions and insights about various spiritual traditions, which revealed to him the reality of the Kingdom of God. He had a living experience and visions of the Orpheus mysteries, the 'harmony of the spheres' in the Pythagorus tradition, Rudolf Steiner's esoteric university, the life of the first Christian communities, the celestial school of the Master Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno), the epoch of the last golden age on earth and others. If the summer camp was like a divine valley in the Garden of Paradise, these visions revealed the bright and awesome summits of initiation in the spiritual Himalayas surrounding this valley.

Leon felt called to climb these summits of initiation and to ascend to the top of the mythological Sacred Mountain at the centre of the spiritual Himalayas. "Each world religion names the central divine summit differently (Mount Meru in Buddhism, Mount Kailas in Hinduism, Mount Zion in Judaism, the High Mountain in Christianity, the Mount of Truth in Islam) but the essence is one and the same: it is the centre of the Universe, the peak of a very high state of consciousness from which we can contemplate the genesis and the wholeness of Creation".

In order to ascend to the top of the Sacred Mountain one has to open their seven spiritual centres (chakras), to gain a living experience of the supramundane worlds related to the chakras and to realise they are as a micro-model of the Universe. This is like a great spiritual ascent from the base camps (the divine valley) through five intermediary camps (corresponding to the opening of the chakras) up to the top of the sacred mountain. When someone reaches the top they are initiated into the deepest esoteric mysteries of the particular world religion and become able to communicate directly with God and the founder of the religion (becoming a holy person, saint or apostle).

For three years (1979-82) Leon Moscona was on an intensive journey to the top of the Sacred Mountain. In general it is a difficult journey with many trials but it is always helped by the Divine Masters and many light beings in heaven. So with the help of the Cosmic Christ Himself, the Divine Master Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno) and many light beings Leon was able to open his chakras and to reach the top of the legendary spiritual mountain. There he established a direct contact with the Cosmic Christ and received many messages, visions and spiritual impulses.

Leon Moscona however climbed the Sacred Mountain not only through the Christian path but through the Hindu, the Buddhist, the Muslim and others as well (the Sacred Mountain is one and the same but the paths to the top are different and reveal different pictures of the Universe according to the world religions). Each one of his ascents to the top was an amazing spiritual story of direct contact with the particular Divine Master (Christ, the Master Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno), Ramakrishna, Buddha, Zoroaster and others) and resulted in receiving their initiations.

In August 1982, from the top of the sacred mountain, Leon had a great vision of the New Jerusalem "coming down out of heaven from God" (Revelation 21:10). The description of the New Jerusalem in St. John's Revelation came alive and he saw the gates of the Holy City widely open allowing millions of people to enter the City (each gate leading to the temples of the world religions in the Heavenly Jerusalem - i.e. the wholeness of Creation from one or another perspective). From the gates the Divine Masters who founded the world religions appeared with their feminine counterparts in glorious celestial bodies as "the way the truth and the life" (John 14:6). This staggering vision revealed the integration of all spiritual traditions in the coming reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth.

Leon Moscona was given the task to write down this vision and for three years he worked day by day on his manuscript. Almost every morning after prayer and meditation "the spirit took control of him, he was carried to the top of a very high mountain" (St. John, Revelation 21:10) and in communion with God, the Divine Mother and the Spiritual Masters in charge of the gates, he described the different temples (i.e. the spiritual worlds) of some of the main world religions. Thus a whole book, THE BOOK OF RESURRECTION appeared which at that time no one saw because of the risks and dangers in the hostile communist regime - the divine message had to be preserved! (An important chapter from this book, Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem, is included in THE SECOND COMING).

Soon after finishing his manuscript, Leon underwent some kind of celestial school for Spiritual Masters under the guidance of the great Hindu Master Babaji (mentioned in the inspiring book by Paramahansa Yogananda - AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI). Of course this celestial school was on earth but its teachers were God, the Divine Mother and the Spiritual Masters themselves who in transcendent communions revealed to him, each one according to their tradition, the mystery of the whole vertical spiritual structure of the universe and of the human being as its micro-model. The Divine Guru Babaji, in particular, taught Leon and directed him to start his work on earth for the integration of all spiritual paths and traditions.

The Lord God Almighty and the Divine Mother had however chosen Leon Moscona to become a messenger of a new revelation. He was sent to the West (first to England 1986-87, then to Ireland 1988-) to continue his dramatic journey and to reach the highest spiritual station - ascent to the throne of God. Two thousand years ago our Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed: "To those who win the victory I will give the right to sit beside me on my throne, just as I have been victorious and now sit by my Father on His throne" (Revelation 3:21). In Ireland (1989-1991) Leon was blessed to achieve this divine state.

At this highest state the earthly human ego-personality ceases to exist and God fills the whole being. The union with God leads to a state of great personal humbleness and complete self-denial. On the other hand this state gives great spiritual power because it is God who acts. When one reaches this station they become completely enlightened and receive an important divine Mission.

In order to bring humankind into the new reality God activates the event of the Second Coming. When Christ said "I am going to prepare a place for you… after I will come back and take you to myself so that you will be where I am" (John 14:2-3). He was referring to his Second Coming and to the ascent of humankind into the New Heaven and the New Earth. The celestial project for the Second Coming has been in preparation for thousands of years and now the time has come for this Divine Plan to be realised. The Second Coming is the coming of Christ and all other Divine Masters who will lead humankind into the reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth.

Obviously the event of the Second Coming and the spiritual journey of humankind as a whole will change the existing religious traditions and will introduce a dramatic new spiritual story. If in their first coming Christ and all other Divine Masters, who founded the world religions, showed the way back to the Kingdom of God, now in their Second Coming they will initiate the actual return to this celestial kingdom and its establishment on earth. This new story will be the exodus from the restricted earthly consciousness to the highest spiritual worlds when humankind will write the glorious pages of a new apocalypse - that of the re-creation of the world where human beings will act as co-creators with God and the Divine Masters.

The event of the Second Coming will initiate the New World Religion. This religion, however, comes not to replace the existing religions but to rejuvenate, reinforce and integrate them. Actually, it is not a religion at all in the contemporary meaning of the word - it is a style and quality of life in Divine Love, Peace, Joy, Wisdom and Truth which brings the reality of the Kingdom of God down upon the earth. This "religion" proclaims the ideal harmonious balance between all polarities in human life and especially between the universal masculine and feminine energies. This conclusion fulfils two functions - summarising the ideas of the book and opening exciting possibilities for creative spiritual work in the future.)

After receiving the new Enlightenment, Leon Moscona was directed by heaven to announce his mission which is to activate the event of the Second Coming, to integrate the existing religions, to inaugurate the New World Religion and to show how to establish the Kingdom of God upon the earth. As a result the book THE SECOND COMING appeared. The work on the book took more than five years (1989-94) and brought forth a staggering divine message.

We could summarise that the book is a plan and scenario for celestial action on earth, which will enact the new spiritual story. It is an invitation to follow the Cosmic Christ, a programme for spiritual development and a guide on the path of ascension to higher states of consciousness. It proclaims the new World Order and reveals the reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth. The book is like a credo, a manifesto, for the dawning new world religion and brings the living seeds of a new philosophy, cosmology and mythology. It is a document of enlightenment and testifies to the achievement of the highest spiritual station by Leon Moscona.

We are living in a time of change. God has decided to change the world and to unite all humankind as one great spiritual family. The time of the Second Coming has come, the New World Religion is emerging and the Kingdom of God is coming down out of heaven on earth. Let us greet this extraordinary apocalyptic transformation and its heralds with great joy, appreciation and willingness to change.
