The Second Coming Mission Seminar in Rila

From July 6 until July 16 the Second Coming Integral Mission held its now annual seminar, led by Leon Moscona, in the Rila mountains of Bulgaria. It was attended by the participants of the Sofia group, friends from Varna, Bulgaria, participants from Switzerland and Ireland. This year the Seminar was a great initiatic event surpassing all expectations. The principal themes were the Kingdom of God on Earth and the Initiation of the Holy Spirit.

Seminar in Varna - February 2002

Varna, the third city of Bulgaria, has a very strong spiritual tradition, so it was there that Leon Moscona went to speak about the opening of the Southern Universal Gate of the Heavenly Jerusalem. For this important seminar a number of the members of the Sofia group accompanied Leon to Varna. The gatherings in Varna included a three-day seminar, a public lecture and meditation in a town gallery and participation in an evening in the Town Hall consecrated to the mission of the Bulgarian people.

In the seminar Leon Moscona developed further the ideas of building ourselves, our lives and our relationships as Divine Temples. He also spoke about the mission of the Bulgarian people, the Teaching and the Cause of the Master Beinsa Douno and the place of Varna in the coming New Mysteries in the life of humankind. These mysteries, initiated by the Master Beinsa Douno (who opened the Eastern Universal Gate), now include the opening of the Southern Universal Gate of the Heavenly Jerusalem.

In his lecture in the gallery Leon Moscona introduced the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem and the great metahistorical and metaphysical task of our time - to conclude successfully the Hindu-European cycle (lasting more 10,000 years) and to enter into a new cycle of evolution as God's people on sacred Earth. The evening finished with an emotional Mandala Meditation, which finished with "Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's 9th symphony.

Public Lecture Series - January-March 2002

After the seminar in Varna the three subsequent lectures in Sofia were consecrated to (i) structuring the work on the programmes, (ii) the celebration of the Divine Feminine (coinciding with International Women's Day) and (iii) conclusion of the whole cycle of six lectures by presenting the Divine task of opening the Southern Universal Gate of the Holy City. As a whole this cycle of six lectures introduces some of the main aspects of the new Initiation of the Holy Spirit and depicts the coming Reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth. The cycle was aptly named The New Being.

Book Launch - January 2002

On 17 January 2002, in Sofia, the Second Coming Integral Mission launched the latest book in Bulgarian by Leon Moscona. It is entitled Новата Епоха на Светия Дух и България (The New Epoch of the Holy Spirit and Bulgaria). It outlines an exciting spiritual programme for Bulgaria based on the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem.

The presentation of the book took place in Sofia Town Library and was attended by many. The MC Todor Ialamov, in his introduction to the book and the author, compared it with the ground-breaking book by Paisii Hiliandarski from 1762 in importance and significance.

Leon Moscona then spoke to the audience about the wonderful spiritual history of Bulgaria and the enormous potential that it now has to take a lead in the world in the Second Coming Mysteries and Consciousness. In this regard he presented a whole spiritual programme including the appreciation of the sacred mountain Rila as the spiritual Himalayas, work for the activation of the Heavenly Jerusalem over Sofia and entry into a great cosmic-spiritual school. In the school the participants are invited to the Divine Wedding which is a symbol of harmony between all polarities and work for the descent of the Kingdom of God on Earth. As a result the Bulgarian people will implement the teaching of the World Teacher Beinsa Douno and could become a model for spiritual evolution in the New Millennium.

Arising out of this important book launch a series of public lectures began on January 25.

Mystical Celebrations 2001

The preparation for the mystical celebrations of Christmas, the Day of the Master Peter Deunov (December 27), New Year's Eve and "Bogoyavlenie" (January 6) started early in December. Leon Moscona returned to Sofia at the end of November and very quickly resumed the intensive spiritual work with the group. His presence brought renewed energy, power and light to the participants. As a result the mystical celebrations surpassed those of the previous year.

Christmas Eve was a glorious celebration through meditation, prayer and song of the Divine Feminine giving birth to the New Earth, as part of the Second Coming Mysteries. This was followed on Christmas Day with the celebration of Christ's First Coming and then the wonder and awe of the coming of the Cosmic Christ now with the Great Divine Plan for all of humankind.

December 27, the Day of the Bulgarian Master Peter Deunov, was a celebration of the wholeness of the human being in all three levels of the universe and the great light shed on this by the Master Peter Deunov. Leon Moscona, continuing the work started by this greatly loved Master, through the meditation, led the group through the Eastern Universal Gate of the Heavenly Jerusalem, to the mystical summits of initiation and to meet the cosmic spiritual Sunrise through the Master. Everybody was uplifted and inspired by Leon's appreciation of him and the obvious fact of Leon's own living connection with him and his work.

New Year's Eve the group gathered around a great Mandala comprised of candles, spiritual pictures, prayer books and sacred scriptures representing all world religions. The theme of the extended meditation was the Second Coming or New Coming of the Masters of the main world religions. Words cannot convey the Divine Light, Presence and Vibration that enveloped all participants during these holy hours of living mystical service before God. All were deeply moved, elevated and spiritually charged for the New Year.

January 6, within the twelve days of Christmas, was the last of these special mystical celebrations. In Bulgaria, in the Orthodox Church, January 6 is the celebration of the baptising of Jesus in the River Jordan. The gathering, of three hours approximately, was dedicated to the preparation for baptising in the 'river of light which flows from the Throne of God' (Revelation 22: 1-5). Only to hear from Leon Moscona about these enormous blessings that await all faithful people was enough to substantially raise the vibrations within the group. Each person experienced these mysteries in a different way, according to their own state, but all were inspired and filled with light. Thus ended a glorious series of mystical celebrations.

Autumn Spiritual University

According to ancient tradition the Autumn is the time for "going inside" and for spiritual learning (in harmony with the inward seasonal flow of the energy in Nature). So at the Autumn Equinox, September 22, the spiritual university was inaugurated and the participants in the Sofia group, in the absence of Leon Moscona, started their regular gatherings. Their work was organised around the initiatic cycle "The Mysteries of the Second Coming" containing five lectures by Leon Moscona, recorded in February-March 2000. The active participants in the Mission presented, within the group, the content of the lectures: The Two Schools, The Two Crosses, The Two Yogas, The Two Journeys and The Two Exodus'. They prepared themselves thoroughly and led the gatherings with appropriate prayers and meditations, essential summaries of the lectures, readings from Holy Scriptures and listening to excerpts from the recorded lectures. The work of the group was enthusiastic, inspiring and spiritually rewarding with vivid discussion after the presentations. As a result the people who led the group matured significantly in the Mysteries of the Second Coming and the whole group was prepared for the great celebrations in the Christmas season.

11 September 2001

The 11th of September was a wake-up call to all people all over the world to take the giant leap that is necessary in order to prevent the self-destruction of humankind. The obvious manifestation of the dark forces at work, which was shocking and chilling, and the subsequent war in Afghanistan show that there is an urgent need for the raising of consciousness and a definite shift to a spiritual way of life on earth.

The Second Coming Integral Mission participants in Bulgaria and Ireland, under the guidance of Leon Moscona, intensified the spiritual activities in order to bring Divine Light into the world during these dark times. Leon Moscona led meditations based on the apocalyptic chapters in the Book of Revelation: The Rider on the White Horse, The Thousand Years, The Judgement, The New Jerusalem, The River of Life and The Second Coming (Revelation 19, 20, 21, 22). These meditations brought great clarity, purpose and light to all who participated.

The mystical seminar in the beautiful sacred Rila mountains, two hours drive from Sofia, was attended by the Bulgarian group and guests from Switzerland and Ireland. It lasted for ten days, from June 24 to July 5. The whole seminar was greatly facilitated by the venue. By climbing high into the mountains, coming into closer contact with Nature and with our higher selves we become more open to the Living God.

Each day started with meeting the Sunrise and deep prayer and meditation led by Leon Moscona. After breakfast the group performed the daily Paneurhythmy, in different scenic locations, among the many summits and lakes of Rila. This would take a minimum of 90 minutes. Many deep esoteric dimensions of the Paneurhythmy were revealed to the group by Leon who has been involved with this sacred dance since 1972 and was the person who brought it to Russia.

Lunch was usually a picnic in the mountains. In the afternoon there was time for discussion about aspects of the Second Coming Mysteries, the Nine Fold Rainbow Path and the New Reality which is coming into existence. This was also a time for individual work, prayer or meditation.

In the evenings, following supper, many wonderful mystical secrets were revealed to the group by Leon. Great mysteries were explored, for example the Holy Trinity, the archetypal structures of the New Reality, Second Coming Consciousness and many more.

Spiritual Seminar in Sofia

From May 12 until May 16 an inspiring seminar, consecrated to the development of the Second Coming Integral Mission, was held at the Centre. The days were very different but each one of them was interesting and inspiring in its own way. They consisted of deep existential sharing about the Mission and the spiritual path of Leon Moscona and the participants. During the seminar friends came from Varna with whom Leon Moscona discussed an important spiritual action - opening the mysteries of the Second Coming in Varna in conjunction with the metaphysical significance of the Black Sea region.

Easter Celebrations

The Easter celebrations commenced around the day of Lazarus and followed the events of Holy Week with the culmination at Easter itself. The aim of the celebrations was for the participants to experience their own spiritual resurrection as Lazarus did. They had also to delve into the mystery of one of the greatest events in human history - the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. Based on Rudolf Steiner, Leon Moscona presented the resurrection of Lazarus and the mystery of Golgotha as existential concepts for our time. The guided meditation led by Leon Moscona for Easter lasted more than one hour and a half and included prayers, spiritual formulas and inspiring music (Bach's Messa B Minor, Handel's Hallelujah). The purpose of the meditation was to experience permeation of the Earth by the Solar Logos and the activation of the Christ impulse in our souls. Naturally the participants who gathered for the Easter celebration linked with millions of Christians all over the world and experienced the Christ Presence on Earth.

Visit to Varna - January 2001

At the end of January Leon Moscona was invited to Varna for a lecture The Second Coming and the New Millennium. The evening was attended by more than 200 people and included spiritual music, lectures from two other speakers and a lively discussion afterwards. After his talk Leon Moscona led a short meditation in which a strong spiritual presence was felt. The evening was a very uplifting and inspiring gathering marking the entry into the New Millennium.

The next day Leon Moscona gave a lecture about the mysteries of the Second Coming among a small circle of spiritual friends. The lecture was deeply mystical and described the mysteries of the Second Coming from many different aspects.

Mystical Celebrations 2000

Leon Moscona left Ireland for Bulgaria at the end of November 2000 to continue the spiritual work with the Mission group in Sofia. These activities included glorious mystical celebrations of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the Day of the Master Beinsa Douno (27 December), New Year's Eve and Epiphany. The spiritual celebrations continued until 13 January. Each celebration consisted of a talk and mystical sharing for about 90 minutes followed by a guided meditation for 60 minutes approximately.

These celebrations were sacred services in the presence of the Higher Worlds. Each event brought the energies and vibrations of the New Impulse from the Living God, Who, at this hugely significant time in the evolution of humankind, "makes all things new". This is the hallmark of the Second Coming Integral Mission - the living energies of the New Epoch.
