BULGARIA

In the past six months the Mission has developed rapidly in Bulgaria. Some of the main events were: Spiritual Celebrations from Christmas to Epiphany.  Launch of the booklet The New Epoch of the Holy Spirit and Bulgaria. Seminar in Varna.  Initiatic Cycle of six lectures: The New Being (The Initiation of the Holy Spirit).  Here we present a summary of the main spiritual themes developed in the past six months in the Mission.

Humankind is now in the epoch of the Second Coming. This means that the time of the great choice and the Judgement is coming. Will we choose the path of ascent to the higher states of consciousness, the journey back to the Kingdom of God, the reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth, or will we choose the path of descent into war, ecological disasters and self-destruction?

In accordance with the metaphysics of the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem, we are living in the eleventh hour of this enormous historical cycle lasting more than 10,000 years. Now we have to open the Southern Universal Gate, symbolising the return to the Kingdom of God with its many mansions and entry into the New Golden Age. Thus we begin a new cycle in our spiritual evolution as God's people on earth.

From spiritual literature we know about the previous great epochs in humankind's evolution such as the Atlantean, Lemurian and others which ended in catastrophe. The end of our metahistorical epoch is a tremendous challenge to humankind. Will we harvest the fruits of all initiations (the great spiritual traditions, the world religions) in the Hindu-European epoch or will we fail the test as happened the Atlantean and Lemurian epochs.

It is difficult to imagine a more crucial and responsible time for humankind during the Hindu-European cycle. This is the metahistorical culmination of the evolution of humankind during this enormous period of time which will result either in spiritual resurrection (and ascending to the new cycle of evolution) or spiritual catastrophe and starting its evolution all over again (as in the Atlantean and Lemurian cases). This culmination was envisaged by all the Divine Masters, Saints, Initiates, Prophets and that is why we have a very rich mythology of the End of Time, the Second Coming, the Day of Judgement, the return to the Kingdom of God, the New Reality, etc. Metaphorically speaking, in accordance with its choice, humankind as a whole will enter either into a 'black hole' of collapse or into the White Source of Light giving birth to a new humankind living in a New Heaven and New Earth.

Obviously nothing from the previous centuries and millennia could be compared with this apocalyptic moment of the end of the Hindu-European cycle. On the one hand it gives enormous blessings for spiritual rebirth and ascent or on the other hand it challenges humankind with colossal catastrophes. In the latter case it will not descend slowly through the Mandala cycle of involution, but it will fall directly through the nadir, entering into a painful hellish cycle of karmic suffering, then, slowly reorganising for new opportunities for spiritual evolution after hundreds or thousands of years. If it passes the test, humankind will ascend into a completely new cycle of evolution in the reality of the Kingdom of God, continuing as God's People, a human-angelic race, on Earth.

Furthermore, every nation has its National Spirit who leads the nation and its destiny according to the Divine Plan. Each nation has a mission, which it unfolds over the centuries of its development on Earth, and the National Spirit, an emanation from the Universal Divine Spirit, is the inspirer of this mission. The 'kings of the earth' referred to by St. John (in the Book of Revelation, 21: 24) are the National Spirits who hold the keys to the spiritual wealth gathered by each nation along its historical path. So, when the time comes for vital spiritual change every nation has to activate its National Soul and Spirit Guide in order to participate in the positive outcome of the "apocalyptic crises". Only in this way will humankind be able to return to the Kingdom of God, where the 'kings' will bring forth and manifest the spiritual wealth of the nations" (Revelation 21: 24).

In order to understand the mission of the Bulgarian people we have to open its Book of the Living where generation after generation the Bulgarian people have written pages with wonderful spiritual deeds. When we start reading this book we will realise that the Bulgarian people were in preparation for hundreds of years for a great metaphysical event – the coming of the World Teacher Beinsa Douno who brought the Divine Teaching for the new epoch of Aquarius, the epoch of the Holy Spirit.

Here we could compare the mission of the Bulgarian people with that of the chosen Hebrew people in the past who were given the Old Testament by the Lord God Almighty and the task to open a new page in the spiritual history of humankind. The mission of the Hebrew people was to be crowned by the coming of the Messiah who would lead his people to eternal life in the Kingdom of God. If we see the genealogical tree of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew (42 generations) and Luke (77 generations) we will understand the great metahistorical process which took place in the development of the Hebrew people in order to prepare for the Saviour to come. For instance it is a very interesting and inspiring task to read the Living Book of the Hebrew people full of glorious pages of great initiates, prophets and kings who manifested a unique National Soul and were guided by a unique National Spirit Guide in order to fulfil their Divine mission. In a similar way it is staggering to contemplate the history of the Bulgarian people preparing the way for the World Teacher to come to continue the work of Christ and to reveal in detail the Christ Teaching for the new epoch of Aquarius. Here we could mention many initiates, saints and righteous people (such as Saints Kiril and Methodius, Saint Ivan Rilski, the founder of the Bogomils movement - Boyan the Magician and many others) who prepared the way along the historical path of the Bulgarian people for the World Teacher to come. There is a great amount of literature detailing the glorious Bulgarian spiritual history leading to the miracle of the birth and life of the World Teacher Beinsa Douno in Bulgaria.

From a metaphysical point of view the Mission of the Master Beinsa Douno was to open the Eastern Universal Gate of the Holy City. By itself it is one of the greatest metahistorical events in human evolution compatible with the opening of the other Universal Gates, especially the Gates at the four cardinal points of the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem. Definitely the coming of Jesus Christ was the greatest metahistorical event in the life of humankind because He turned the wheel of human involution into evolution, so that everyone who believes in him would have an ascending path crowned with eternal life. But the coming of the World Teacher, opening the epoch of the Holy Spirit, that of the cosmic-spiritual Spring, is also a great metaphysical event in human history. It is the Golden Age in Bulgaria's spiritual evolution. From this point of view, we could now shed light retrospectively on the whole history of the Bulgarian people, also its present situation and the future when the Bulgarian nation will fulfil its Divine mission and will bring its 'spiritual treasures' in front of the Throne of God. The acceptance of the Divine Teaching of the Master Beinsa Douno, its implementation and spreading all over the world is the culmination of the mission of the Bulgarian people.

The coming of the World Teacher Beinsa Douno among the Bulgarian people is the greatest blessing but a great responsibility as well. Now the Bulgarian people are before their greatest test. Will they accept, implement and spread among other nations the Divine Teaching of the Master Beinsa Douno? Clearly the well-being, prosperity and the spiritual evolution of the contemporary Bulgarian people depends on the successful fulfilment of this Divine task. Let us hope that they will mobilise themselves to fulfil their Divine mission and initiate a great cultural renaissance, spiritual awakening and Divine resurrection guided by the World Teacher Beinsa Douno.

Here it is important to emphasise again that every nation has a great Divine mission which justifies its spiritual evolution. We mentioned the Hebrew people and the Bulgarian people with their Divine missions but we could reveal amazing aspects of the mission of the Irish people, the Russian people, the Swiss people and other nations. For instance some glimpses of the mission of the Irish people are given in Ireland page. The mission of the Russian people is revealed by the great mystic Daniil Andreev in his initiatic book The Rose of the World. Because our time is so crucial in the evolution of humankind many nations have to open their Book of the Living, to resurrect the Divine deeds in it and to fulfil their Divine tasks for the spiritual rebirth of humankind in our epoch.

The Mission of the Master Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno) was to open the epoch of the cosmic-spiritual Spring on Earth and to provide practical knowledge for the ascent of humanity into the Kingdom of God. According to the Master Beinsa Douno, the whole human culture is like a grain of wheat which now starts to sprout up from the darkness of the material world into the light of the celestial world. This transformation affects all three levels of life - the microcosmos of the human being, the cosmos of human culture, and the macrocosmos of 'Heaven and Earth'. In fulfilling his Divine task, the Master Peter Deunov/Beinsa Douno introduced the Path of the Disciple for the new epoch of Aquarius. He modeled the main features of the coming 'solar culture' and revealed the metaphysics of the reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth. The spiritual legacy of the Master Beinsa Douno includes more than 6,000 lectures (about 100,000 pages of text), 150 original songs, the circle dance Paneurhythmy, thousands of spiritual exercises and experiments, and advice for practically every aspect of human life on Earth.

For 22 years the Master Beinsa Douno led a great spiritual School which became a natural and organic part of the daily life of his disciples on Earth. He blessed humankind with The Testament of the Colour Rays of Light, introduced the principles of celestial Music, and revealed the power of the sacred Word through many prayers, formulas and songs - some of the latter with text in the most ancient language on Earth, Vatan, which comes from the previous Golden Age. The circle dance Paneurhythmy created by the Master is a new type of spiritual practice for the epoch of Aquarius. It is the gate leading us to the reality of the Kingdom of God constituted by Heavenly Music, Colour Rays of spiritual Light, and sacred Divine Words. The Paneurhythmy reflects the cosmic-spiritual dance and rhythm of life in all planes of the Universe and it is an earthly image of the harmony and music in the celestial spheres. One of the main ideas in the Master's Teaching is the coming of the New Eve, the collective personification of the Divine feminine principle, who will transform the whole earthly life of humankind.

  The Master Beinsa Douno as a personification of the World Teacher opens the Eastern Universal Gate of the Holy City. The initiation of the Master brings the cosmic-spiritual Spring when the soul blossoms and the whole Earth is filled with new spiritual vibrations. During this phase of evolution the Divine Spirit manifests itself as the World Teacher who leads humankind out of the shadow of material existence into the light of the spiritual Sun. In the cosmic Spring spirit and matter are again in balance (as in the cosmic Autumn) but on an evolutionary basis, i.e. towards the increasing manifestation of the spirit in matter. As a result, metaphorically speaking, the Universe becomes like a 'blossoming entity'. In this metaphysical season, the initiation of the Master Beinsa Douno traces the Path of the Disciple through the macrocosmic gate of Being. This initiation reveals every phenomenon of life as a product of a long evolution in time and thus develops knowledge of God. So, the path of the Master Beinsa Douno's initiation deals with macrophenomena and penetrates through the macroworld to the essence of Creation. As a result, the Master's initiation illuminates many spiritual worlds in Creation and finally reveals the mystery of the Primal Cause – God as eternal Love, endless Wisdom, absolute Truth.

The Path of the Disciple in the Master Beinsa Douno's school and the blossoming of the human soul are symbolised by the Grain of Wheat. This is the seed sown by Christ which in fertile soil and with the help of the Master grows in the heavenly world. The Grain of Wheat is the emblem of the spiritual evolution of the human being who sprouts from the 'dark earth' into the celestial worlds. The esoteric meaning of this symbol is that we have to die as an ego-personality in order to be born into the celestial world where our souls will blossom and bear many fruits. In many lectures, for instance, Blossoming of the Human Soul, the Master uses the grain of wheat as a symbol of self-sacrifice, humility, patience, overcoming difficulties, inner work, the process of growth and organic transformation.

The Master, on many occasions, said to his disciples about his work, "My task is to pass on to you the Divine Teaching for the New Epoch. Your task will be to implement this Teaching and to pass it to the Bulgarian people. The task of the Bulgarian people will be to accept and implement it and give it to humankind". As a result the Bulgarian people will fulfil their mission envisaged by God from the beginning.

Subsequently, many Russian people came to Bulgaria to partake in the activities of the Universal White Brotherhood established by the Master Beinsa Douno. There, Leon Moscona, with friends from the Brotherhood, with great personal risk, facilitated the Russian groups and groups from the West (1983-4-5) to study and experience the Teaching of the Master Beinsa Douno. Despite the restrictions of the communist government, the Heaven and the Master Beinsa Douno protected these visits and they gave many spiritual fruits.

In Bulgaria (from 1982 to 1985) Leon Moscona, through many visions and insights, received the revelation of the Kingdom of God with its many mansions in the form of a gigantic metaphysical zodiac-mandala. This became known as the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem. In it the World Teacher Beinsa Douno opens the Eastern Universal Gate of the Holy City, that of the cosmic-spiritual Spring, thus bringing a new initiation from the Living God into the life of humankind.

Moving to the West in 1986, Leon Moscona introduced the Paneurhythmy and the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem in many countries and spiritual centres in England, Ireland, Switzerland, U.S.A., France and Germany. For instance, he introduced the Paneurhythmy for the first time to the well-known spiritual community in Findhorn (Scotland). Some of the inspiring events connected with the Paneurhythmy were: the Paneurhythmy at Harmonic Convergence in Glastonbury (England, 1987) with participants from all five continents; the nine-day Paneurhythmy school in Northern Ireland (1990); the Paneurhythmy celebration in Schweibenalp, Switzerland, in the centre of the Alps, attended by more than 100 people (1991); the Paneurhythmy in the four corners of the U.S.A., at American Indian sacred places and at the "metaphysical gate to the higher worlds" in Chicago (Summer 1988); the Paneurhythmy at Phoenix Park in Dublin and some sacred places in Ireland (Glendalough, Tara, An Greanain , Douth, Slane).

Alongside the Paneurhythmy Leon Moscona led many Mandala meditations introducing the people to the Reality of the Heavenly Jerusalem. In 1995 he published the Book The Second Coming with substantial chapters consecrated to the Esoteric Dimensions of the Paneurhythmy and the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem where the Lord Krishna, the Enlightened One Gautama Buddha, the Lord Jesus Christ, the World Teacher Beinsa Douno and the Holy Spirit open the cardinal gates of the Kingdom of God with its many mansions. In order to present the Teaching and the Cause of the Master Beinsa Douno as part of the great spiritual treasury of initiations of humankind and moreover, as the new Initiation from the Living God, Leon Moscona had to develop a special "metalanguage" capable of describing all the great initiations in the spiritual life of humankind. By fulfilling this task he actually introduced metaphysically the Teaching and Cause of the World Teacher Beinsa Douno to the world. Thus he contributed greatly to the Mission of the Bulgarian people in spreading the Teaching and the Cause of the Master Beinsa Douno around the world. Now, definitely, one could say that the great tradition of the World Teacher Beinsa Douno is rejuvenated, strengthened, reinforced and shines with Divine Glory for the whole humankind.

So, the spiritual journey and the Divine tasks of Leon Moscona originate from the Great Universal Brotherhood. They are linked with the deepening of the esoteric dimensions of Master Beinsa Douno's Teaching and spreading it all over the world. Moreover, continuing the Divine work of the World Teacher Beinsa Douno, the Mission of Leon Moscona leads toward the opening of the Southern Universal Gate of the Holy City.

In accordance with the metaphysics of the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem , the opening of the Southern Universal Gate symbolises the return to the Kingdom of God with its many mansions, entry into the New Golden Age and the beginning of a new cycle in the spiritual evolution of humankind as God's People on Earth.

In essence the opening of the Eastern Universal Gate is connected with the first resurrection, while the opening of the Southern Universal Gate will be connected with the second resurrection, i.e. awakening of the higher self and entry into the highest Divine world. The process of awakening of the higher self is linked with the esoteric dimensions of the Paneurhythmy, the inner circle of the Pentagram and the mystical depths of the Testament of the Colour Rays of Light. This initiatic work unfolds in a new type of community – cosmic spiritual friendship, with a new style of life, including not only meeting the sunrise and excursions in the mountains but also meeting the cosmic spiritual sunrise and excursions in the "spiritual Himalayas". Then we will be able to embark on the Path of the Initiate and enter into a celestial university on earth.

By opening the Eastern Universal Gate the Master Beinsa Douno opened the epoch of the cosmic spiritual Spring. Thanks to his Divine Work we are approaching the epoch of the cosmic spiritual Summer and the establishment of the New Golden Age, the reality of the Kingdom of God on earth. In order to establish the Kingdom of God on earth, with its many mansions, humankind has to resurrect and integrate all spiritual traditions in human history. This will happen through the Holy Spirit Who will reveal the totality of the Kingdom of God (i.e. the New Jerusalem with its twelve gates as described in the Book of Revelation). In other words the Holy Spirit will give the keys for the integration of all religions and for the establishment of the New World Religion which will simply be a style of life in the reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth. For the unfoldment of these Divine tasks Leon Moscona received the Initiation of the Holy Spirit.

An essential part of the coming new style of life is, ultimately, co-creation with God. Again in the terms of the Book of Revelation this means an invitation to and participation in the Divine Wedding in Heaven between Christ and His Bride, the New Jerusalem (Revelation 19: 7; 21: 2). This is the union between the universal masculine and universal feminine principles in Creation. As a result of this union the reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth will come into being and humankind will live in it forever as co-creators with God. By entry into the Holy City through the Southern Universal Gate humankind will set in motion the wheel of Divine Truth and Immortal Life in the Kingdom of God on earth.

In essence, the Holy Spirit, who upholds the whole of Creation as a Temple of God and reveals the results of the spiritual evolution of humankind (from the Hindu-European cycle), opens the Southern Universal Gate. So, in order to enter into the Heavenly Jerusalem through the Southern Universal Gate we have to receive the Initiation of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit (as well as the Lord Krishna) opens the Southern Universal gate of the Holy City, but in the coming new Golden Age. The Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity, is the ideal-objective substance of all created worlds. If Christ acts in the depths of the cosmic Winter as the ideal-subjective universal principle coming from God, the Holy Spirit has maximum influence on human beings in the epoch of the cosmic Summer when humankind develops in direct contact with God, under the dazzling light of the cosmic-spiritual Sun. This epoch represents the return to the Golden Age. For this reason both Krishna and the Holy Spirit are at the Southern Universal Gate of the Mandala. The 'Prodigal Son' (humankind) will come back to the Kingdom of God with rich spiritual experience derived from his evolution on Earth, with an impulse to put right his mistakes and to transform the whole Earth into a Garden of Paradise. Therefore, the initiations of Krishna and the Holy Spirit have different nuances: the initiation of Krishna is union with God as the Great Divine Light while the initiation of the Holy Spirit is living and creating in God. It introduces human beings to the Heavenly Jerusalem by building life as a Divine Temple where the Holy Spirit comes to live forever.

The symbol associated with the initiation of the Holy Spirit is the Dove. When human beings give birth to the Christ impulse within and sprout from the material world into the heavenly realms, they become able to fly as free Divine souls – celestial birds – all over the spiritual Universe.

The initiation of the Holy Spirit occurs when human beings build themselves and their lives as Divine Temples. In these Temples the Spirit of God as a Divine Dove comes to live forever. It brings all the fruits of the spirit such as 'love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, self-control' (Gal. 5:22), and many others. In the initiation of the Holy Spirit these fruits are crowned by holiness, Divine integrity and creativity.

In the light of the Initiation of the Holy Spirit, the mythologies in all spiritual traditions will be activated and will introduce us to an immense field for spiritual work. Now in the physical world human beings have to work very constructively through the socio-cultural structures in all areas of life in order to survive and maintain materially. For humanity to enter into the reality of the Kingdom of God it has to work very constructively in the spiritual world, just as it now works in the material world. The tasks are enormous indeed: to transform our lives, to embark on the Nine-Fold Rainbow Path, to heal, purify and illuminate the Earth, to transform the earthly culture into a celestial culture, to participate in the Divine services in Heaven, and so forth. Two thousand years ago Jesus Christ said: "The harvest is great but the labourers are few". In the new Epoch of the Holy Spirit how much more true this statement could be!

Through the Initiation of the Holy Spirit humankind as a whole will be given an enormous Divine task: to transform itself, and to transform the Earth into a Garden of Paradise. Within this task each person will find his or her place and will receive virtually endless possibilities for personal fulfillment and self-realisation. Figuratively speaking, the Third Testament from God will create the most appropriate 'spiritual job' for every single human being on Earth. The constructive work on the material and spiritual levels will be organically integrated and both together will form the reality of life on Earth for humankind. The Initiation of the Holy Spirit will open the Book of the New Apocalypse, that is a new chapter in the Book of the Living, which will record the transfiguration of humankind, its mediatorship between heaven and earth and its co-creation with God. Century after century humankind will write in it the glorious pages of the creation of the new reality here on Earth.

The contemporary religions, which are now a special form of worship of God, will become an organic part of the daily life of humankind in the Kingdom of God. From this point of view, the coming New World Religion will not be a religion at all in the contemporary meaning of the word. It will introduce a new, celestial style of life in Divine Love, Peace, Joy, Wisdom and Truth, establishing the reality of the Kingdom of God down on Earth. Thus, the coming New World Religion will not replace the existing religions, but will fulfill their cherished spiritual goals.

The new creative Divine act which brings the Initiation of the Holy Spirit will change our whole perception of the world. As a result of this act and the entry into the reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth, the metaphysics of the world will be different. Naturally, our physical world will be the same but the understanding of this world will change. This change is similar to the Buddhist Enlightenment after which the physical world remains the same but the enlightened see it in a completely different way.

The Initiation of the Holy Spirit is a Testament of humankind's resurrection and immortal life in the reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth. By bringing to completion the metahistorical cycle of humanity's spiritual life on Earth, initiated by the First Coming of the Masters, the Holy Spirit will resurrect all the 'righteous spiritual deeds' of the faithful from the various traditions throughout the centuries. In principle, we cannot complete this metahistorical cycle without contemplating the whole historical evolution of the spiritual traditions which build the various Temples in the Heavenly Jerusalem. So, when the Temples in the Holy City are revealed in their wholeness by the Second Coming of the Masters , and we can contemplate them in one single act of illumination, we are actually resurrecting the spiritual life of humankind throughout all its history on Earth.

In the new cycle of humankind's evolution in the reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth, we will experience an organic integration of the historical past, the creative present, and the envisaged future. The past life of humankind on Earth will appear as the resurrected creativity in the history of the spiritual traditions. The present will be experienced as constructive spiritual work for establishing the Kingdom of God on Earth. The future will spring from God's blessing for co-creation with the Divine Masters. As in any creative work, we will envisage the projects and then work towards their realisation, thus making the potential future an inspiring, creative present, flowing towards the future. The organic, dynamic integration of the past, present and future of the spiritual life of humankind is one of the main archetypal ideas for Immortal Life in the reality of the New Heaven and the New Earth. The immortal life of humankind in the Kingdom of God is the essence of the Initiation of the Holy Spirit coming from the Living God.

By receiving the Initiation of the Holy Spirit we will enter into the reality of the Kingdom of God. Two thousand years ago the Lord Jesus Christ said: "The Kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17: 21). To live in the Kingdom of God means to build our life on all levels of Being as a Temple of God where the Divine Spirit will come to live forever.

The Second Coming Integral Mission presents seven programmes connected with this Divine process. Obviously each programme is an enormous field for spiritual work and will be supported by appropriate spiritual knowledge, methods, techniques and practices. This creative spiritual work is described in more detail in the Nine-Fold Rainbow Path . Furthermore, the purpose of the Second Coming Integral Mission is to open the Southern Universal Gate leading into the Kingdom of God by introducing the Initiation of the Holy Spirit and building our lives as Divine Temples. For the past four years Leon Moscona has given more than 50 lectures consecrated to this Divine task.

I.   Building ourselves as a Divine Temple

In accordance with the great myth (introduced by Plato) every human being on earth is in eternal search for his or her soul mate. This myth reflects the Divine impulse within everyone to meet their beloved partner and soul mate, to enter into Divine union and to create a beautiful temple of love, life and light together. By undergoing the first and second resurrections together the man and woman in love interweave the energies of their seven chakras to build the Divine Temple.

  They become personifications of the New Adam and the New Eve and enjoy the wonderful spiritual taste of all three worlds of Creation. As a result the couple could become a holy family when the birth of beloved children follows, conceived with the power and the mystery of the Holy Spirit. Their life together is like an eternal journey in the Kingdom of God.
